When we went to the Live Art Development Screening as part of the SACRED pieces at the Chelsea Theatre on Saturday afternoon, we saw a clip by Lauren Barri Holstein. This led us to investigate Ann Liv Young. We are drawn to the images she creates, the messy aesthetic she plays with and the notion of every action taking place in front of the spectators. We respect her use of bold subject matter, humor and use of body.
